With the list of architects and digital architects i will go thorough the list and two architect and digital architect along with them i will also be looking at my own influences and how they can be incorporated into the development concepts of my design.

Along with looking at the Influences i will need to look at the architecture elements.
Other choices i decide to do with the use of avatar through the environment, will be the camera itself than spending more time to create an aviator as it take time away form constructing the environment.
In terms of the lighting i will be working it in conjunctions with the environment as i will want them to have a place of harmony in the design.

With my own external influences i choose Gary Tonge Conceptual design, The art of Avatar by James Cameron's Epic Adventure, The Skillful Huntsman and Art of Halo 3. i think i still bring in further more external influences after i have had my critic weeks.

From the research i feel that the design i will be looking for the concept to be balance of harmony between the construct and the environment that the avatar can move around in

Initial design

This design i was think of have the building be a smooth curved surface but also by having two different building style shape it create a element of disharmony.

with this concept i was think of having it beneath ground level as it would create a interesting affect with the lighting as i use a mixture of natural and man made light still i felt there not be a wider range of motion path for the avatar and also purpose.



In this initial deign i was looking the building to be a connection between the land and the sea still i felt initial a could do more interesting concept's and saw this as being part of my initial design



This design was one of my development concept design where i felt i could see a path for the avatar to travel and also a interesting enforcement that the architecture building are placed in. Also the light i felt for this would create a interesting effect of disharmony, still i decide to look at the environment element of this and how like it to look
In this architecture concept i think of having a harmony look by have the architecture building located at edge of waterfall where the building are join together by arch passage way with the side building be similar and centre being the focus point.


After i had been working on them it was critic week were i got good mixture of pointer of my concepts and also elements i could develop further and experiment with. Still from this i moved onto my may construct

First Maya 3d architecture concept



After i had got further in the construction of my Maya project i had a discussion with my work with the lecture, which was insightful as i found new elements that not though of before in the design. Also I found that Inga found more interesting concept with the sea and land architecture design as there was more potential with it. The key elements i found was the way of how the avatar move about and it purpose which i could see more clear in that design than this concept.

From this stage I'm now more looking into finishing the texture and lighting and the flash drive video

The following shots are end of my fully constructed environment and near the end of adding texture and will then be moving onto my lighting









From this stage i will be move onto the lighting part of the project where i be looking at using a combination of inter and ext er lighting






These final shot showing how i feel that the lighting affect i.am looking for is come to a point where i don't not want to go further in case it spoils the effect i be looking for with parts of the structure there is int er lighting but minimalistic as i decide that the tower block where the glass provides a wide usage of natural light, i did not not want to place man made lighting into it. Still the base of it i did want have man made light to sow the unity and harmony that the shape creates with the environment also the scale of it.






Next i will be doing the play blast to see how it look with the avatar moving with in the environment and how it inter act with the lighting . The two ways i be thinking of having the avatar is one where the camera move like a person from one part of the structure . The other idea was to have the avatar to have the movement of a Bird moving around the ext er of building while still going near the open inter spaces. Final part of the project will be to some plant life/tree and the background.



From her it now be to add bit of plant life and alos the finale tunning of my lighting before the play blast
